Wouldn't mind seeing Ellis and Vanek together on a line. I know they both play LW, but come one, wouldn't everyone like to see Ellis controlling the puck along the boards and popping it in front of the net to Vanek?

more fun to have RJ back to call the game after almost a month off.

I skimmed the article, and don't see anything that says he's back. Are we just assuming he is?

If anyone is interested in picking up last minute tickets to this game, there is a discount on the 300 Level II tickets. Enter the word TOP in the promotional code and get a $72.00 ticket for $49.00

Thanks for picking up the GDT ETC. Gonna have a talk with that boy Mo

MacArthur, Lydman, Montador in; Kennedy, Sekera Paetsche out.

WTF? Kennedy benched for MacArthur???? Uhhh, bad call IMO. Kennedy has been great the past few games, and how can you keep the Butler/MacArthur minus bazillion in the lineup with so many better options available?

WTF is right ETC, why won't Lindy bench Butler???? That kid has done absolutely nothing most of the season and has a horrendous +/-

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

At the beginning of the last broadcast Kevin Sylvester said RJ was on vacation "for one more game".

Matter of fact, Butler is 256 out 272 defensemen in the NHL when it comes to +/-

I see. I missed the last game due to this thing called work ;) Thanks.

I'm still debating whether or not to take advantage of the discounts tickets

If I were in your situation, Schony, discount tix = me sitting in the 300's for this game cheering on our boys in a drunken stuper all while wearing my new Roger Edwards/RBK vintage Sabres jersey/sweater which came today! This thing is awesome!

But yeah, I'd be all over these tickets like the ugly on Chara's face :P

Too bad I don't live closer to be able to go to games on a whim.

I've actually really loved seeing Mair paired with Roy and Vanek. Mair takes more chances, and because of him being on that line he has scored two goals in the past two games, well he scored last game on that line.

I'd rather have MacArthur in against the Bruins, Kennedy still is a rookie and needs to be taught ice time isn't guaranteed also. He may be feisty, but him against the Bruins third line is a bit rough to me.

Kennedy will be a second or first line player in his career.

I'll be gone for tonight's game. :(
I am jealous of you all that get the chance to even think about going to a game, much less attending!!! I'm still "giddy" off the last win, so keep it going Sabres!!!

I think Butler should have been watching tonight instead of playing, but I think its a reprieve for now.

 GOOOOOOOOOO SABRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have fun watching them win tonight all!

You should be. Ladies are drinking for free in ETC's pub until they lose. You should be pretty hammered already after 42 hours of imbibing as it is

One of my oldest friends out here is a huge Bruins fan - he will get a phone call if and when we start stomping them tonight - that being said, I hate the Bruins. For some reason unbeknownst or not remembered by me, I hate Chara as much as any player in the league!!

GO SABRES!!

It must be in relation to his time spent with the Sens, Wyo. It's a sense of anger and hate that is buried so deep and forgotten that even the mention of his name puts a lot of Sabres fans into fits of rage & hatred for what they believe is no reason what so ever. All they know is, they hate him with a pure passion and true meaning of the word, "Hate".

I blame, Ottawa!

Common ETC, join me in this rant! I know ya gots it in ya!
