I don't know. I like this guy. He is a RWer and can score. Is he the answer for Roy and Vanek and if so, what would it take to get him here?

Original Post Above. Editing to add to possible package. (Even though Darcy stated this morning no changes are coming :()

To Buf:
Dustin Penner
Gilbert Brule
2nd rd pick 2010
5th rd pick 2011

To Edm:
Derek Roy
Drew Stafford
Clarke MacArthur
3rd rd pick 2010

Thoughts? Adjustments? Counter-proposals?
(and please, be kind, don't hurt my fragile psyche at this time :))

Penner is the Oilers team MVP this year and is finally earning his pay check.

Why would Edmonton move him now?

Like Jim Bob said no real reason for Edm to move him but we would probably have to give up Stafford + 1st + Weber

I'd do it.

Penner could work well with Vanek, and we are still looking for a good RW to work with Vanek, since Pominville is working too good with Connolly.

Have we seen a Vanek, Roy, Pominville line at all? Seems like Pominville works well with Vanek on the PP.

Edmonton will sell much of there team this season. Penner could very well be had for the right price.
