This is a big bowling night as well. I go into tonight with the 5th highest average in the league, but tied with four or five other guys.

The top ten make the roll-off for solo champion at the end of the season, and I made it last year after bowling furiously the three weeks before, but had a prior engagement (which I'm pretty sure was a hockey game ) so I had to decline.

Averaging 185 on the season, 198 in the past 7 weeks.

I was considering laying off the crown tonight, as I have dinner guests coming over the next two nights and will surely be drinking with them. I am currently working on an essay and a cover letter for submission regarding a job opportunity. I think I better pour a stiff one - 3hrs and 5 min until game time - I'll give my liver a break next week .
