I have been saying this for awhile now but all I hear is bah bah bah. This team needs some tinkering to it if they plan on competing for the Stanley Cup because this current roster isn't going to get you there.

Reasons for Sabres success this season is Miller, Myers and the play of Connolly and it's easy to see night in and night out.

I'm at a loss for words.

Spezza and Alfredson and kovy are more talented then Vanek, Pommers and roy

for the first half of the season, I never blamed the defense for anything. As bad a season as guys like Butler and Rivet were having, I shrugged it off.

But god damn, the defense of the team has been losing games. Sekera played a decent game, but forgot to cover alfy late in the game. Butler hasn't been great, Rivet hasn't been great.

And that's ME saying that. Butler and Rivet are usually my JAM.

I fucking hate Sekera, MacArthur, and am starting to hate Butler. Did I miss too much of the game, and they were actually decent tonight?

Seasons a long ways from over; but whereas we should be getting better; we're getting worse.

We have a host of 2nd and 3rd line players, and NOT ONE STAR. NOT ONE BIG NAME. I hate to say we need to rely on a name, but for fuck's sake, our biggest name is our GOALIE....he doesn't score many goals. Our second biggest name is a ROOKIE. DEFENSEMAN.

Darcy, give us a star. Trade away the garbage 2nd and 3rd liners. Trade EVERYONE but Roy, Pommers, Connolly, and Vanek. Fill the gaps with Players from portland, but bring in TALENT.

MacArthur isn't going to get any better than he is. He's a mediocre player that works hard which is fine but he's not a top 6 forward and this team needs 1 really clutch offensive player.

So earlier in the season it was Connolly?

What the fuck have you been smoking? Connolly has become hot since January, not October. Myers was a rookie trying to earn his spot then and has gotten ten times better. miller has been amazing but the team was amazing and playing out of their mind then. Not a single player was the sole reason for our success then.

We've strayed away from what has worked then, we need it back.

I have been saying this for years now and since Darcy doesn't make trades you have to rely on players getting drafted! Sorry to be the burden of bad news but Darcy needs to grow a pair and take a chance every once in a while and go out and acquire a big name player!

Connolly has been a best offensive player this year dip shit and it's easy to see. It's not like Vanek, Roy, Poms have been lighting it up since the start of the season. Connolly was the best forward tonight. So what are you smoking?
