Since you seem to know everything about hockey and that I should be bowing down at your feet because of your knowledge of the game. Tell me then what is your full take on this years Sabres team and what do you think Darcy should do? Is ownership just content on making the playoffs or do they actually want to take a shot a the cup? We both know that this current roster isn't going to win the cup so don't kid yourself.
Myself I only see a few things different from last years team than this years team and it's a motivated Miller determined to being the U.S. #1 goalie and elevating his game to another level that none of us have seen before. Plus the addition of Myers has been huge for this team he's been great on defense and is logging a ton of minutes and is playing key roles in all situations. Mike Grier has been a nice surprise addition back for his leadership, forechecking, penalty killing and his toughness role. Last year this team had a ton of 1 goal losses and this years it's just the opposite. Yes this team will make the playoffs but that's it. This team will not be Washington or Pittsburgh in a seven game series.

First off I'm not mad at the guy! I don't really care if he's trashed a thread or not. Oh god I might lose sleep over it. I actually think it's funny. He has his opinion of the team and I have mine! I want to see them win the cup sometime during our lifetime and not just keep going on the same conservative ways that they have been doing for a long time now. I have followed this team thru thick and thin and I don't always agree with how they run things. That's why we our fans of this team. I wasn't happy at all last year when they gave up picks for 2 rental players that were going to do what for us? Last years team wasn't good enough to make the playoffs and even if they would have made it then what. They weren't a cup contender so why not build for the future. That is how i looked at it and others look at it differently and that's fine.

1. First off I didn't know you were talking about the old sabres forum! I thought you meant this one and yes that was my mistake!
2. Yes I said that because of Darcy's track record. He's only going to get us talent thru the draft and improving our draft position will get you or should at least get you some pretty darn good players! I have no faith in Darcy making a trade that will get us some decent talent to help us. The last few years he has lost key players for nothing and trade picks away for rentals with no intent of signing them. THat's a waste. Like I said you have your opinion I have mine!
