Ivd had it with this crap and Im sure all of you guys are too.. I have been dreading this Olympic break ever since the season started but it's something this team needs.. We don't look anything like how we looked in the beginning of the season.. Players aren't remembering their assignments and are not hustling.. Maybe a long break away from the NHL will refresh their minds like the offseason did for them..

I would like to see a trade happen before the olympic break that way that player has alittle time to gel with some new teammates. Oh I forgot he probably won't do anything and if he does he will make a minor move again by trading a 1st or 2nd rounder for a rental player like Moore last year. Wake the Fuck up Darcy and do your damn job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just what the doctor order...Miller starting every game for 3 weeks in the Olympics before starting every game for the rest of the Sabres season.

No, I meant I was looking forward to it! During the break, it will really, really suck. But the way I feel right now, I'm looking forward to a couple weeks without this team.

Miller isn't going to be playing every game in the Olympics. Jonathan Quick is a really good goalie as well and has been playing pretty darn good right now.

Uhmmm sorry but Miller has the number one position locked up which means he will start every game the USA appear in. Of course if he has a terrible game where he lets in 7 goals or something whack (which wont happen because he has a freaking defensive core that will play well in front of him) So yep that just what this team needs. They really need to play Lalime a few times before the break or get a serious back up goalie.

I've been saying it all along this past two weeks, the Olympic break will do wonders for this team, and the reason is because they will get a break, especially with this shitty condensed schedule as it is already.

Rest up, watch some film, do some practices, exactly what the doctor ordered.

According to Burke, the Olympic schedule for the USA completely lends itself to a one goalie system; the USA has one game scheduled every other day. Unless Miller has several baaaaaaaaaaad games before the Olympics, he's likely to get every start that the USA is scheduled for. Just putting it out there.

Now, other than Miller, Tallinder, Lydman, Hecht and Sekera, I believe this team has no Olympians on the roster. So for the most part, most of the team should be well rested and come out hard after the break.

SO that means players like Roy Vanek and Stafford should kick it into gear and start being high powered offensive demons!

Im looking forward to this break as well... just think about it too... even though miller will prolly start for the USA it doesnt mean he wont be good when he comes back, I imagine he will be sharper than ever, knowing what his team is capable of and knowing what other nations are capable of too.

Not to get to far off topic, but I wonder if he'll step down as USA GM now?
The man has a full plate right now :(

I can't wait for the Olympics on every level. I LOVE the Winter Olympics.

And yes, I'd love to see some trades happen before then.
