Well I don't know about you mr. Regier,I'm 40 years old and have been waiting for a cup since I was 5..that whole protect our youth and build from within system you have sucks balls and is as useless as your team..

You know I don't mind protecting our quality youth and I'm in favor of trading for an unrestricted player if he still has quality years ahead of him and you know you can sign him. But this approach has been with this team forever now and it's not working. The problem with buffalo is they finish too many times in the middle of the pack and you get middle of the road picks for the most part. Darcy is never willing to move up into the top 5 and try to land a franchise player which this team desperately needs. The last top 5 pick was Vanek and he's been this teams best pure goal scorer the last couple of years.

He's supposed to be our "no fear" leader, to drop the gloves when needed. But you just see him talking to opposing players, never acting.

Then the very next shift stafford, a guy who never fights drops em and holds his own.

Send rivet down to Portland for some "conditioning"

When people say that Rivet might be unmoveable because of his contract, I disagree. There are many cup running teams that would like to beef up their blueline. I actually think it would be very easy to move Rivet at the deadline.

You would all enjoy seeing the Sens get their asses handed to them much more than this game.

As much as I would like to see Rivet go Darcy will never trade the player he went out and acquired and plus the captain of this team. It's not going to happen.

It might even be the same thing PuckSniper posted in Hockey today. The link is in there.

Lol, there isn't one, not to mention this team has been to the ECF under Regier 3 times...but ya know, apparently if you watch a team for 35 years you're entitled to a Stanley cup more than any other fans.

I mean, has nothing to do with the fact that nobody wants any of our crap players for their superstars. And the whole build from within has given us players like Miller, Vanek, Roy, Stafford, Sekera, Myers, Goose, ect.

I'm confused as to why people feel like making trades is as easy as to pick up the phone, and just offer random shit to people and see what sticks. And that building through Free Agency is the way to go. How's that working for the Rangers, and the Leafs? Oh yeah...

I guess we just got sooo spoiled watching all the wins. These losses are brutal to take, but I have confidence we will come back into dominating again.

Realistically, we're just in a rough stretch of the season, all teams go through them, hell at one point i think the Pens lost 5 in a row, same with NJDs, it's how we respond to these stretches and minimize losing streaks that will prove what kind of team we are.

holy shit, just pulled up the score on nhl.com. I am so glad I haven't been able to watch the last two games. This is fucking ridiculous. How the hell did this team go from one of the best in the league to a downward spiral?!?!?!
