Wow...Caps may never lose another game.

By the way they celebrated that win, you would have thought it was a playoff game. They are going to completely run away with the EC let alone the SE division.

Looking forward to Boston vs Habs @ 3

That's what I was thinking. Man, was it loud.

Though to be fair, if there was a game of that quality in HSBC, the fans would probably be just as loud.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but here's a link to the B's VS Habnots. If you can deal with the game in french that is :P

http://www.justin.tv/exou_02/popout/

I kinda wanna see the B's lose today. THEN it will be the longest losing streak in team history :D

It seemed pretty loud when Connolly tied it up against Ottawa...I mean, I wasn't there, so I can't say from personal experience, but that game seemed damn loud over the tube.

It did. Maybe the loudest it's been all season. If we could have taken the lead, it probably would have gotten louder. :(

Being in Canada, don't you get this game on CBC?

Lucic demoted to the fourth line and Paille playing with Savard. Interesting.
Good for the Pie-Man. At least he's seeing the ice now and not riding the pine.

Go Habs :shhh:

So does anyone want to deny that Ovechkin is better than Crosby now?

How does someone who has only played in 51 games scored 86 points? And 42 goals?

Crosby scored two of his own today, BTW.

I know, but he isn't at 86 points in 51 games though.

I know that most people probably won't agree with me, but honestly after watching today's game, I just can't see Washington winning the Cup this year. Yes, they're on an epic run and at the moment they're easily the class of the league, but they've got some serious flaws that they need to sort out if they intend on going all the way. They are in dire need of a goaltending upgrade and a solid shutdown defenseman.

Hate to say it, but by watching the last few games, can you see the Sabres heading to the finals? You can take this quote, and turn it around, almost word for word. They may be doing amazing in the standings now, but the Sabres need some offencive players (or the ones they have to show up!) and some shit disturbers or it won't last for long!!

I think the Crapitals remind me somewhat of the Oilers from the 80's. Yes, they had d-men like Coffey, Lowe, Smith & Co. but they had that much fire power for scoring goals, they could let in 4 or 5 and still beat you 7-4 or 7-5. Their goaltending situation is somewhat relative to their D in that when the breakdowns happen on the blue line, expect for a long night if you're a caps goalie between the pipes. If they shore up the blue liners, the goaltending takes care of itself. Also, the scoring can take care of itself, too much for my liking. As much as I absolutely HATE Ovechkin, I have to admit the guy gets the job done.

As for our beloved Sabres, I think we need a set of defibrillators for some on the roster as I believe they have since gone flat line. j/k

You can either have the defib or the explosive ammo.... your choice, and you cannot have both! lol
