pure awesome.

Seriously though, that fight gave me alot more respect for Drew. If he keeps up that passion and that emotion he'll develop to his potential. He needs to tap into that drive before its too late.

He is the guy that went after Chris Neil after the Drury hit.

At that point of the game, and the losing streak, I think even Stafford had to say, "Enough is enough!" I really hope he keeps that ugly chip on his shoulder for tonight and also, hope it's infectious and spreads to the rest of the team!

That's what I was thinking when I saw Staff fighting...we're losing getting dominated, LETS FIGHT!

We just can't win in Columbus, and we can't beat Ottawa.

I think our problem days with Atlanta are over now though.

Quote:
The Sabres have lost four-in-a-row heading into Tuesday's home contest versus the Bruins, and are 2-7-1 in their last 10 games. Ruff joined The Howard Simon Show as part of his weekly 8 a.m. Tuesday appearance and talked about the need for players to do something out of character to rally their teammates, like a player who doesn't normally block shots laying out in front of a puck, or a non-physical player making a big hit.

He was then asked about Drew Stafford's Saturday fight with R.J. Umberger.

"That is a sign that's enough's enough," Ruff said. "You've gotta pull your chin up. Don't walk around and feel sorry for yourself. That was a great sign. 'Don't try pushing me around. We're already down a little bit and enough's enough.' As soon as the rest of the team grabs a hold of that -- that isn't a talking effort -- you'll see this team get rolling again."
