STFU. The man was investigated and found COMPLETELY INNOCENT of all accusations.

Innocent until proven guilty, right? Unless it serves a purpose I guess.

BTW, that wasn't a 'rant'. That was a factual recounting of the circumstances surrounding the accusations against him.

This. I think Carrie is fantastic, but she was definitely off key. I felt bad for her, actually, because she's usually immaculate live, but not this time.

I think Fisher must fucking up her voice somehow.

Townshend has been a long time advocate against child pornography, partially due to his own experiences being molested as a child. He publicly admitted that he accessed a child porn website for research purposes, but did not view or download an explicit images.

He was investigated for 4 MONTHS, willingly cooperating with police, and turned over all his computers for forensic analysis. After the investigation, he was only warned for accessing the website illegally, but the forensic examination found no proof that Townshend, at any time, was in possession of child porn.

Before you call the man a pedophile, maybe you should read up on the facts and stop relying on tabloid journalism to form your opinions of people.

Thank you for posting this, because I would have, had you not.

Townshend is actually referencing his abuse on the album Tommy. Pete's musical works are second to no other artist; none.

I have done research on many oft-maligned people and have, as a result, entirely given up on people's ever being decent when it comes to actually looking anything up before condemning others; and once they have decided that a person is guilty of something that heinous, there is absolutely no changing minds, in most circumstances. I have literally spoken over half an hour about one person before, without interruption, only be told, "Well, that's just your opinion," even though I was offering objective facts and a timeline of everything that occurred, while the other party had nothing to base any beliefs from outside of rumor and meaningless conjecture that was completely divorced from what had actually occurred; it was what he'd been fed by the media, essentially, and none of it was true.

So you've never heard the Star Spangled Banner in a different key than what it was originally written in before then?

Sounds perfectly fine to me, how she was off key I don't understand?

It was in the key she can sing it in, not what it was wrote in, the only problem was her last note was a bit pitchy, but she probably couldn't hear herself.

One more thing, she was off-key to what music being played behind her?

The final note was where she really cracked... She tried to power out of it, but it just fell flat. No biggie, she's an awesome singer, but she kinda got out of sorts at the very end.

Whatever, she sang it just fine.

The final note was not perfect, but she probably couldn't hear herself over the amount of screaming and cheering.

She sang it just fine, the way she sings it makes it sound like that.

Whatever Patgreen. It's also way different when you don't have a backing track to help listen to.

Listen to the Panther/Seahawks version of Underwood, she sang it the same way. She sounded fine. If anything was pitchy it was the first note and last.

I'd love to hear you try and sing it then Pat.

How about Drew Brees and his son after the game. One of the most heart-warming things I've ever seen.

I may just be a 20 yr old college student but I can't wait to share a moments like that with my son. (yes I will have a son and he will be the next Ryan Miller.)

And I can judge singing also, I still have a pretty damn good ear for music still. It's not like the past 8 years of my life I wasn't playing a musical instrument, and especially these last four years in high school.

I'm with skyline. Carrie Underwood sounded just fine. Haters shouldn't hate.
