Including 6 road games in HD on MSG against NY area teams. Looks like MSG squeaked through their agreement to carry some road games in HD this year.

Will those games be available in HD outside of WNY? I have switched from DirecTV to Comcast and am not sure what is available in HD on the CenterIce channels.

With Time Warner, my center ice package is all SD...HD games on Vs.

I have FiOS...so I don't have any MSG games in HD. Only when they are on VS or NBC.

Ditto. What exactly is keeping center ice from being shown in HD? I really dont know much about how things shot at HSBC in HD find their way to my tv in raleigh, or at what point HD is denied. Basically i'm just wondering who to be hating on. And seriously, fuck them.

It's the same thing as the NFL Sunday Ticket, you have to pay more for HD, when every game is only shot in HD with the cameras at the stadium but you are shown the game in SD.

All they want is more money, and probably put a filter on the feed to your TV to make it look worse.

MSG and the NHL aren't getting along right now - basically Cablevision (who owns MSG) has pulled access to the HD feed for anyone outside the Buffalo market.

MSG is supposed to be spun from Cablevision in December, hopefully that will help things.

...cold comfort to know. Let's hope it gets resolved before we lose too much of the season.

Feed, yes. HD format...no. Big difference.
