You know, I'm getting a little tired hearing the players and coaches talk about how the way to break out of their slump is to "start feeling better about themselves again", or how "thinking back to when things were better" will make the losing go away.

WTF...this "self-esteem" crap is all well and good, but how about instead of Daily Affirmations they start talking about wanting it more than their opponents, and doing whatever it takes, including going out and beating the shit out of them, to get it.

As for the feelings part...

I'm with ya man. I say, screw the feelings. Thinking back to how it felt to win earlier in the season doesn't always change things. To think this way, and to do the things that made the team feel better are two different things.

It's like waking up and having one real bitch of a hangover. I mean even the sound of your own breathing gives you a headache, type of hangover. Well, thinking back to how awesome it felt drinking that 66'er + the 2-4 of beer the night before doesn't take away the pain in your mind, does it?!

Well, with the second "storm of the century" brewing just south of here. I am again remanded to a hotel room tonight at the same hotel with the shitting wifi signal. So, I'll try to watch the game but it was so choppy over the weekend I doubt I'll get to watching. I'll try and stop by the GDT tonight but if not,
