speculation is tim thomas MAY be team USAs starter, per NESN...

Not a chance.

“Oh yeah,” Wilson said when asked whether Miller is his No. 1 goalie. “I’m not afraid to say that.”

After saying Miller is his unequivocal choice as his team’s No. 1 goaltender, Wilson said it makes no sense in his mind to hand the reins to anyone else.

“I’m going in there with the mindset that I’m playing (the same) goalie every game,” Wilson said. “I don’t think the way the schedule is set that you can say, ‘We have to rest this guy,’ or ‘We have to be fair to the other guys.’ ”

Miller will be USA’s No. 1, play every game

Why can't Jimmy call a game for old time sake? He was never my cup of tea, but he's aight, and more tolerable than Harry(to me).

I can't even remember the last time the Sabres had a ceremony like this. I like them a lot.

Joe is a good guy. "Thank You Sabres" gave me chicken skin.

RJ, French Connex, Crozier!, Jimmy.

RIP Darling Ted.

This is neato groovy.

(I did take issue with Joe thanking Quinn, however.)

As far as I knew, there's still only six numbers in the rafters. Last time they held one of these was for Dave Andreychuk, wasn't it?

2 anthems? I thought they only played one anthem when two American teams are playing.

Oh, Canada is sung at every single Buffalo Sabres home game.
