Yeah, I actually installed kaspersky on a windows machine to see what you guys were seeing. It should be fine. If you're super paranoid, get the NoScript plugin for firefox.

Firefox has always been good to me, except when I did an add-on that was supposed to interact with online poker software and my computer started having all kinds of problems. I ended up uninstalling firefox. Now I guess I just need to not use too many add-ons.

I'm loving the new Quick Reply box, it looks alot better.

Also wondering if there was a way to bypass the "Your post has been posted" Page? And just have the topic refresh like the old forums, if not, I'll get used to it.

Well it's never going to be exactly like the old boards (totally different software), but I'm trying to get it close plus some improvements. The old boards were circa 2003...we've evolved since then.
I'll see if I can get rid of the wait screen after a post...I think that's part of the flood control.

I think automotiveforums.com has the same thing since it uses a version of phpbb.

Is there a way to get rid of the Preview button also? I keep hitting it, if not, I'll get used to it also too.

phpBB3 rocks - best forum software I've ever used, can be adjusted via settings or .mods for almost anything.

Still a few things that I mentioned before that might make things a little nicer. One thing that's annoying me, even though it's not an issue, is that avatar width seems to be setting the column width for the info bar on the side.

Personally, I like the preview button - if you're doing something with img tags or flash tags and have to hit submit, you might screw something up and then have to go back and edit it. I use it on occasion.
