Here's where we're failing, from what I can see from the old games:

1. We aren't skating as fast as we were. In plays away from the puck, they aren't coasting. Their feet are always moving. This also prevents anyone from getting on the inside in our own zone. All the play is kept to the outside.

If you aren't going to be the most physical team, you better fucking haul ass. They were before, and that's why it didn't matter.

2. We aren't driving hard to the net. When that happens, the player on the wing looks to pass instead of shoot, and that's why we keep giving it away a lot in the offensive zone. In the games I'm watching, there are pile ups of 3-4 guys all the time at the other team's goal. How much have we seen that lately?

3. We aren't taking hits to make plays. In these games, we're holding onto the puck to draw a man, and then dishing it while taking the hit, leaving teams outnumbered and out of position down low.

If they fix these 3 things, they'll get back to winning.

I think Lindy will/should run their asses off during the break (whatever team they have left) but give them enough time to recover from the pain before the games start again. Or do the exact opposite of what he normally does (like if he's usually loud don't say anything for a whole practice) and scare the piss out of some people.
