Lindy Ruff is obviously part of the problem here. It's his fucking team, they're uninspired and uninterested. Skilled players are not performing. Even our third and fourth liners are not going well. Every other coach is responsible for motivating his team in every other city in every other town, in every sport.

Only in Buffalo does a team underperform for most of three seasons and the coach gets a free pass. I don't care how many games he's won in the past; his team has missed the playoffs two straight years, and is on the verge of tanking this season.

If his going Tortorella makes a difference, which I doubt; then why the hell hasn't he done so already??
