awesome. i love the mood swings and i believe that it could be real. i know a couple people that are that "passionate." while i dont think any of them will go that crazy, they would get pretty nuts. probably why he was with her unless he felt he could do no better or was just happy to have a girlfriend, i know a couple guys who can do better but they feel lucky to have a girlfriend and wont dump them even though they clearly are either using them or something else. But yea that is one self absorbed girl to completely miss her b/f telling her countless times that he was going on a trip of a lifetime. Unless she did not want to believe it was true. A girl I dated my senior year of high school did not want to accept the fact that i was in college over an hour away, and had a lot more homework that her. She did not take me breaking up with her well, but when your an athlete, a pre-med student, and a psychology/chem major, you really don't have a lot of time. And i made time to call her three times a week.
