Paul Hamilton cut away from the interview before Miller was finished. Mike Harrington's audio will probably have more.

I've gotta say, I would NOT want to cross Miller's path when he is pissed off.

We're still comfortably in the playoff hunt...but still, this is really getting annoying.

Yea after that OT goal, Miller went straight off the ice in a hurry.

Hardly ever see Miller leave first like that.

So now that we all know Miller is officially pissed, who wants to take bets that the next thing he does is take a punch at the next guy who runs him?

The extended interview is on Sabres Edge:

http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sabres/201 ... s-say.html

Miller says he's been "pissed off for months" and that at this rate they aren't going to make the playoffs, and that it's "getting ridiculous".

Yikes.
I don't disagree with him but I don't welcome the possibility of a divided locker room at all.

FINALLY!

A player that speaks the truth from a player on the ice prespective. I wonder if this will force Darcy's hand or he'll stand pat. Alienating your star goaltender isn't something I would do if I were management. Didn't they do this to Hasek as well? Didn't they fail to put prime pieces of the puzzle infront of him and hope he carried the day?

Me either, but I would like to think that the players have enough respect for Miller to take his comments as something that could spark them, rather than his words dividing the locker room.

Thanks Fly for being....well, on the fly with that info! ;)

I agree CX.

I had a feeling, along with probably many, that the chemistry was missing. I hope if nothing else this merely wakes the TEAM up to perform at their highest level. A beautiful win on Saturday will do wonders for them all.

Last February the Sabres played San Jose at home, trying to lift the area's spirits after the plane crash.

This season they play San Jose at home, and they ARE the plane crash.

I was one of the piss pots; Ice being the other, who kept insisting that we were never nearly as good as our record and standing indicated.

I sincerely hope, once refeshed from the Olympic break, that we are more like the team the majority felt we were.

I doubt we'll be proven wrong.

Honestly, as a guy who knew a friend who was directly involved with that tragic day, I'm going to be that guy that says "not cool"; I know you mean that in total jest, but I'm just not ok with a joke being made out of tragic events.

Looks like Miller is the only one who REALLY cares give him the C. If this is gonna dividing the locker room better deal some of these so called professionels.

Like I said before even a stellar goalie like Miller can't carry a team all by himself. Roy, Vanek and Pommers! need to get their shit together at least Roy is starting to score again.

I know it was meant lightheartedly, but yeah......

Jvacc, I see your point, but I wasn't even trying to be funny. That's the side of me that is somewhat calloused from working and halfway living in a cesspool with the dregs of society. No offense intended.

Well I hope the Sabres can beat the Sharks like they did last year.
