Yeah, but thats when the horribleness of the Leafs boosted him to playing on the top two lines, where he accidently got 45 points by the trade deadline. In retrospect we overpayed greatly, but if he had kept up his production like he had on the Leafs, it would have been just about right.

While I'm no Moore apologist, this argument drives me bonkers.

Why is it that if a guy is on a bad team's second line, he's not really a second liner, he just got lucky? He put up the numbers to back it up while he was there.

He didn't play great here, but I'm willing to cut him some slack considering he played with a broken wrist/hand the entire time. He's just guilty of hiring a bad agent who over inflates his value.
