According to the Montreal French newspaper reporting this trade, the source they had was bad.

Frolov's agent is in Montreal, per the Canadian media and the LA Kings organization. 3pm Announcement expected.

The NHL may have intervened on this trade. Don't know why and would need a credible source, but multiple tweets now are confirming this. Will await TSN or NHL report if this did indeed happen.
