I stole my friend's iPod at dinner last night. I think I'll let her freak out about it until the day after tomorrow.

You didn't happen to steal mine too, did you? It's been missing for about two weeks now.

Ewwww. :( I would go crazy if that happened to my MP3 player.

A friend of mine had $200 and her passport taken out of a safety deposit box she forgot to lock a few days ago. The passport makes no sense. What's somebody else going to do with it? She's meant to go to Paris in four weeks and has to get a new one and hope it gets here in time. :? Hoping it's just a prank.

Yeah, I'm past the "losing my mind" stage, now I've just accepted that I'll never find it. I tore apart my house and my car and I can't find it anywhere. Luckily my brother has an iPod Touch and he has been letting me borrow it and let me put my music on it, so I'm thankful for that or else it would be especially shitty (I always listen to it when I drive and I can't work out without it).

I don't know what happened to it. I was leaving for the Boston game last Friday and I had it in my hand, along with the tickets... When I got in the car I set my purse down and the tickets and I thought my iPod, but then I couldn't find it. I searched the car a bit but not that thoroughly because I didn't want to be late for the game. But since then I've had pratically every member of my family search the car and the house (and the driveway) several times but to no avail.

Pretty sure it's in another dimension, where all the other lost things go.

Maybe someone stole her passport just to be cruel, because it's a bitch to replace one and it can majorly screw up your plans if you plan on traveling somewhere.

i heard about that, apparently it happened like a hrs drive from where i live...and i slept right threw it. now i can say i "survived" a blizzard and an earth quake in 24 hrs. just need to add a tornado (wouldnt surprise me when in illinois) and a tsunami (that would have me scratching my head) and i would win Natural Disaster Bingo.

I feel bad for my cousin named Caileigh because her parents gave her that name before it really took off (though with bastardized spellings), and it was really rare and unheard of at the time, and now suddenly all these little girls have it. She's currently ten. She's a month older than my brother Keith, and at the time it was hilarious that my parents and hers decided on the names they did because Caileigh means "woman of the forest" and Keith means "man of the forest," but they came to their naming decisions completely independent of each other, and Keith is named after a singer.

Her twelve-year-old sister, the one that likes to give me tips on how I should cut and style my hair, was born on the day that Princess Diana died and her middle name is Diane. I remember for like three years every time someone new met her they'd be like, "Oooohhhh, is she named after Lady Diana?" Um, no. My grandmother's name is Diane. Also, her middle name is Diane, not Diana. Good thing people no longer connect the dots that being twelve now means that she was born in 1997 (or early 1998 buuut she wasn't soooo), and being born on August 31, 1997 means that she was born the day Princess Diana died and oohhh heeeeeeey her middle name is Diane so she must have been named after her! That would get so annoying.

For the longest time I only had one girl cousin, and then suddenly there were two more. Now I've got a four-year-old one in addition to the first three, and my aunt that is the mother of the youngest one is pregnant with a baby due in June that might end up being a girl. Boys will still outnumber girls amongst my cousins and siblings by 4-to-1 if it is, though, so it's OK.

One of the top news headlines on my Yahoo page regards the thousands of people in Ohio forced into sex slavery every year. It's ridiculous that people have a tendency to think that most sex workers are there of their own volition. Yeeeeeaaaaah, try again. They're pretty much all slaves. According to that article a thousand children born in Ohio are forced into sex slavery every year. It's also ridiculous that there is apparently a pretty substantial trafficking route that goes back and forth between the exact town where I am now and Buffalo. I found this out while researching the topic last year. Um. It was broken up a couple years ago, but most think that it still exists. They were found to have transported thousands of slaves a year for several years. There were also three brothels consisting solely of slaves broken up within a half-mile radius of my college in 2008, and this is the middle of nowhere podunk Indiana. Helping with that isn't what I'm meant to do; I'm going to do other things... but damn.

Well it was good to see the Sabres play a live game again.

It had been around 6 years since I last saw the team play a live hockey game.

This is so frustrating...I love my life right now, where I'm at; the people I have, but yet I feel like there's something missing. I can go home every night, and I know that I have a cuddle partner, but she's just not into me, or anybody right now. I know I have no chance with her, and that's fine. But there's just nothing the same as having somebody. I know what I want, and I could have it right now, but it just wouldn't be fair...ugh, it's complicated, and frustrating at the same time.

Students at my college are rather ridiculous. This school is just about bleeding money, and they had to close the music department... They made the announcement the day before yesterday. I've heard quite a few students since then complain that the school's not letting them know what's going on. Well, then, if you don't know what's going on then how do you know what's going on? The ones not affected by anything are making a bigger deal out of it than the ones who are. It's amazing. The music students are all accepting of the fact that they're going to have to transfer, while random behavioral science majors are freaking out. ? Professors who just lost their jobs after this semester have more composure and grace than students that have nothing to do with the classes they currently teach. I swear people who are deeply affected by things always get over them faster than those who really aren't.

Another awful Bills season, and they raise the season ticket prices again.

Mine went up $5 - at what point do I just give up? They've gone up $15 over the past three years and $25 over the past 5.

Zdzislaw Beksinski prints are next to impossible to find. There are like five for sale via both Amazon and Ebay, and they're the same ones... Random online stores have the same ones too. They're all $35-50 framed and matted. There are additional ones on his official site, but they're... $400, and it's not an exhaustive list.

And none of them are the ones I want lol. I want these three:

Also I find this one hilarious and wouldn't mind owning a print of that, either:

Sad day.

It's going to be obnoxious when I don't have enough money to buy original art by random artists when I'm older and will have to settle for prints. In this case, whatever, because he's a well-known artist, but having to settle for prints from local artists and the like... Ewww.

is it sad im excited to go to the generals game because they installed a new lighting system at the arena? the arena is super dumpy, but a new company is running and is going to improve the hell out of it.
