Because maybe some of them have prosthetic legs or something like that, not all of the members of the team are paralyzed I don't think.

If Vanek had a playmaking centre would he improve? a savard type player.. He's never really had a #1 centre with him.

I wonder if he would be 50 goal man or if he would be 20-30

Well he's clearly not a 20-30 goal man, considering he's never played a full season with under 30 goals.

A playmaker would help him. A Stephen Weiss or Joe Pavelski would do wonders for this team.

I'm looking forward to that competition. You know 4 of them are from Buffalo right? And 60% of the team is training in Buffalo? That game should be more exciting than what we've seen as of late.

This period flew by. I should stop playing computer solitaire :shhh:

So have the Sabres worn their thirds at all home games this year?

His rookie year he had 25 goals.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

I wish!
I swear they play better in them because they know they look way more badass.

Yeah, but all 9 were standing, and if they weren't paralyzed then how could they compete in the paralympics?

The Paralympics isn't just for people who are paralyzed.

This is true. There is a girl from my hometown that is albino, and she competed in the summer olympics.

Well, they're all handicapped. Idk, I'm a little confused and don't know much about sled hockey. I was just guessing it was similar to wheelchair basketball where you have to be in a wheelchair to play, so in my mindset you should be in a wheelchair if you're going to play sled hockey. Just what I thought though.

I think we had the better of the chances, and no big Gaffs on D, so not too bad

I thought we did well in the first. The boys looked like they were trying harder than they have in the past few games. Myers, Roy and Vanek are putting in the effort and shooting, as oppossed to trying to make pretty passes!
