I have this sinking feeling we're not going to see a win after this so I'm trying to enjoy it for what it's worth.

Rob, is it too early to start drinking?

Beautiful save....

USA looks a whole heckuva lot more together this game - pretty dominant first period. That being said, I sure hope Miller doesn't get within 100 feet of that curler Shuster, don't need any of that bad JU JU!! :o

How insane are we as sports fans that we're hating on Shuster? :p

His wiki page is getting rocked:

Quote:
John "chokey mcchokestein" Shuster (born November 3, 1982)

Quote:
John Shuster has single handedly ruined the USA chances to compete for the gold. He missed 3 final shots that could have been made by a one armed, one legged, brainless monkey

After the lost to Denmark, Shuster's fiancee officially denounced their relationship, stating that he would have failed as a husband down the line sooner or later.

Shuster's father is currently disappoint.

Quote:
Growing up Shuster was an avid baseball fan. In 2003, he attended a playoff baseball game. When a foul ball was headed towards the stands, he made a play for it but unsurprisingly he couldn't make the play. Steve Bartman is now blamed for the epic loss because Shuster couldn't make the play.

Quote:
Shuster failed four times to make a game-winning shot in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. He chokes more than a prostitute.

I don't hate him, I feel sorry for the dude...That being said, I still don't want him coming close to Miller, he has some serious bad luck right now and I'm superstitious enough to believe it is contagious!

So I just got home and am watching from the start...I know the score, but so far it's just 1-0 on my late start DVR game.

Ryan Miller gets his first (credited) assist on the 4th goal. Heads up play by Miller and the pass ahead to create the play.

Right now, if Drury scores be it happy. The NHL doesn't belong right now, put your hate aside and root for your Country.

Drury will always be one of those players that epitomizes hockey to me.

Can we have Drury back now? I'm sick of being mad at him. It was nice to see DRRRRRUUUUURRRRYYYYY back in a GDT.
