It was intense, but still the no hitting was pretty boring.

How can you guys watch womens hockey? I tried and it is really boring to watch.

I didn't see the USA game, but saw the highlights this morning.

Those chicks are good!

I once played against a girl, uh . . . "d-person." Funny thing was, as we guys were deciding whether we were allowed to rough her up or not, she began dishing it out - so that brought clarity to the situation!

She was really good, and easy on the eyes too. ;)

I say, yay for the girls!

There were two women in my inline league, both on the same team. One had played defense for Princeton, so she was pretty good. The other only had one arm and played with a juniors stick. She was decent, all things considered, and they gave her some pp time.

I don't think it's boring at all. When you get into some of the crummier D-1 college teams and they can't get a puck more than a foot off the ground to save their lives THEN it gets boring. The olympic women are just good hockey.

And seriously it's not like the Sabres do much more hitting. Olympic hockey is kind of wuss hockey, regardless of gender.

Up now (5:30 p.m. EST) US vs Finland
MSNBC coverage or TWC HD 718

How many SOG will the Finns have this game? Probably a better test for our gals this time.

Man 4-0 against Finland, I'm watching the USA gals curling against Denmark, and if I may revert to my natural male chauvinist pig-like demeanor, some of those girls are very HOT!!!

Muirhead for Great Britain was hot also.

At least some teams have hot girls, just look at Canada's coach Melody Davidson. Also read the wikipedia page

Ouch!!! Melody? Really?

Some of that look could be fixed rather easily, but she must not care.

At our house, we refer to all such chicks as "Marla Hooch."

US up on Sweden 4-0 with 14 minutes left in the second.

One round away from the Gold medal round.

Little trivia fact: the Lamoureux twins' brother is none other than Jhonas Enroth's backup, J.P. Lamoureux :D
