Your thoughts on the Olympics

1. I love the whole thing! I watch the coverage every night, and will be sad when they're over. 42%  42%  [ 13 ]
2. I root for the USA, but am really only interested in a few events and just watch the coverage off and on. 45%  45%  [ 14 ]

I absolutely love the Snowboard Cross. The 4 man race on snowboards. Just a great event. The men's final was epic with the USA guy catching the Canadian Mike Robertson near the end. The Ski Cross event goes early next week and there is a girl from Kelowna competeing in it, the whole city is buzzing with excitement for her race.
As for the topic I chose 1. I love the Olympics and the fact that its happening not even four hours away is pretty cool. We have at least 3 channels showing different events all day, so I have seen a lot of Olympics so far. Even when I work I have a tv in view as I sharpen skates, customers are pretty stunned to see me sharpen skates and watch TV at the same time lol.

And should you grind down a finger or thumb in the process, hockey tape to stop the bleeding and keep on sharpening! Never miss a shift! :lol:

Myself, I've enjoyed them more than I thought I would, but I think my avitar says it all. I'm going out of my mind without seeing the ice at HSBC arena and hearing RJ & Harry.

I know the TV coverage this year is way better than when CBC had it. My only gripe is the Olympic morning crew on CTV, they think they are funny and they are not.
