Please Darcy, get this man a better backup for the stretch run

This has become ridiculously imminent now. Miller's eyes were bloodshot in the PGI. Dehydrated like a drunk. If they make no move in net, then Darcy really is a dummie.

*ahem* Biron?

Yes, Mahrten . . . Beeron!!! We really need to have something in place, Darcy. We've know this for awhile, ay? So it might be a good idea to get moving on it, ay? Ay?

I am sort of just because the Canada's goal tending is not good and there offense is pretty bad.

You ALWAYS write off Canada after a loss. Truth is your STILL the talent hotbed unquestionably.

Which is true, but the Americans play better as a team than the Canadians at this point, which is the most important factor.

It was a well-deserved win for Team USA. Congrats guys.

It seems like Canada is sorta like Russia, players are full of themselves and hold the puck too long.

A few of Russia's games they dish the puck out to others and such and have done a good job doing such.

but as others have said, the Shark's line and Crosby are the only ones producing, and if Canada wants to win, everyone on that team needs to really work together better.

Best hockey game I've ever watched. Nothing like sitting in a bar surrounded by 100 proud Americans ripping into the two Canadian chicks that didn't know when to keep their mouths shut.

It was a good game for sure, Daz! All in good fun! :D Regardless if the US knocked us out of the games tonight, or if it meant they advanced before us. Doesn't really mean much to me. My eyes are on the big silver prize. I want Lord Stanley! As far as I'm concerned, this was a good fixing for mine, as well as everyone elses hunger for Sabres games. And two Sabres were represented in it! Like I said earlier, win/win for us Sabres fans!

Now, all that aside. If we lose to Russia and Ovechkin? Well, they might as well get a nice padded cell ready for me as I'm sure I'll be legally and clinically insane and frothing at the mouth!

well, congrats to USA. canada should start louuuuuuu. and im happy that michigan was the driving force behind the win.

Ask the players, the media, and the GM's. I don't think anyone has them pulling Brodeur(even JR). That's the kind of move that gets you fired permanently. I love Robbie Lou, and it would be a motivational move for the entire team, but giving up on Marty in the past would have ALWAYS been a BAD, BAD move.

I know I do ;) but when it comes to Olympics Canada has only won gold once (2002) in the last 50+ years, that hurts

Maybe it's Crawford. If his system was simple enough to install in 3 days with a fresh roster, fine, but it ain't. I'd have Lindy doing it, because he wings it for a living.

Well it that happens then Canada is screwed ;)

It doesn't happen often, and all Canucks aren't like this, but should this happen again, Squanto. Then shove something in their mouths to shut them up!

Garlic Fingers and Poutine were made for such reasons!

In about 500 more posts Schony, we've had a few GDT's hit 1000 posts before.

I know. I was up in Lewiston. There was a good Canadian contingent at the bar I was at, and the vast majority were respectful and great sports. About 10 of us chipped in and bought them a round after the game was over.

The two skanks did not get such courtesy though. :)

Haha.

Even the reporters and such were saying if you shut down the Sharks line and Crosby, you'll beat Canada.

the world is finally understanding the epicness of Ryan Miller. It makes me even more proud to be a Sabres fan and of course to be an American.

I remember about 2 or so years ago, some people in WNY thought that Miller wasn't a true number 1 goalie.

Now he has proved he is the best goalie in the world, and there is no doubt about that.

Tables turned.

Did the two skanks get some extra action from anyone after the game? haha

Only one GDT has gone over 1000 on Junkie ;) If we leave it open and not locked anytime soon, we'll be right up there ;)
I just started the game all over again on DVR. Crosby just scored for us LOL.
