I feel a bit for Canada; this seems like a devastating loss for them as a Nation, and as a team. They are still in contention for The Gold, so they need to get over this.

When both Colin Cowherd and Jim Rome spend a good portion of their respective shows discussing the US win, it is epic though.

I personally would still not bet against Canada in this tournament......

The Canadians have to get through Russia now...bets are definitely being placed against them (just not by us).

Me too...until I think of Cindy with the GWG in our Winter Classic...and on the Stanley Cup...and crying every time something doesn't go his way. Then I think of what it would be like if they HAD won. THe Canadians wouldn't feel the least bit sorry for us, so they can just (insert expletive).

It's like a big extended family to me. That side has their assholes, just like we have ours. It's just when it comes down to brass tacks I will always side with my side of the family. I have more tolerence for my own assholes than someone else's assholes.... ;)

Wow, this friggin thread is still open? 36 pages, good lord!

I watched the replay of the game today on sportsnet. Man, I can honestly say I haven't been that entertained by a hockey game in a long time! Even knowing the final score, just to see those plays and saves again was amazing. I caught myself saying, "How the fuck did he save that!" on many plays!

Great game!
