Would you like to dispute that fact or are you just lamenting that I consider massive governmental failures a result of failed politics and policies?

EDIT: go ahead and Blame Bush for our Federal problems...I blame Antonio (La Raza) Villaraigosa for LA's problems.

Fine, I'll stop talking politics even though this thread is about a city budget.

Redacted reply here
Why not?

LA is half a billion in the hole because Democrats only know how to spend, increase the size of government and ignore inconvenient problems.

Just to the south a little bit, Anaheim in Orange County is doing fine. Should I mention which party is in control down there?

Trying to milk $3 million out of dog license fees is such a ridiculous attempt to fix this mess the party in control deserves to be mocked.

There are a lot of stupid ass republicans too. LOTS of them.

Every time you generalize, you're contributing to one of the biggest problems we have in this country right now in partisan politics.

Yep, but they don't control LA, so I don't really get your point.

If you were calling the democrats that control LA dumb asses, it'd be one thing.

Your post came off as a pretty harsh generalization. That's all I'm saying.

I'm specifically calling Antonio Villaraigosa who I've named several times...a dumbass.
So is the LA city council and the LAUSD board of education.

It's a lot easier to just say LA Democrats though.
