Yeah, I was nervous going into this game because of Hiller. That's why I was cheering for Belarus yesterday.

Earlier today, I was possibly more excited for this game.

Definitely agreed.

On the flip side, I'm kind of glad the US had to play the Suisse. They presented a much tougher challenge that will give them some confidence and momentum moving forward.

I really want to see Canada lose.

Nothing against Canada. I just don't want to play them again.

to be the best, one must get through the best.

im happy USA won, but if the suisse won, i certainly wouldnt have been heartbroken. they play a game i LOVE. rely on an elite goaltender, and scrap for every chance. give me a 1-0 game over a 7-6 game ANY day.

Jordan Parise (Zach's brother) is a goalie in Austria. He might be available. 8-)

Hiller played amazing, it's too bad the Swiss team doesn't have any more NHL players or ones to put the puck into the net, of course not against us of course.

They would be a serious team to contend for something or to be the knockout guys if they get some scorers. Hiller is and was fantastic throughout this tournament.

One cannot say that last night was, "Only Germany". The Germans kept it close in the early on and showed a really good effort. But going into that game, I was thinking about this one against the Russians. I'm hoping that the Canadians who needed to wake up used last night as the opportunity to do so.

Canada VS Russia for the final 4th spot. This game will have a real kill or be killed attitude tonight.

LOL. I'd rather have his father JP Parise come out of retirement and play!

Yeah...I agree. But it's not like I would have diminished USA's victory if it had been over Belarus instead of Switzerland. :)

Roman Wick was drafted by the Senators in 2004, but they've since lost the rights to him. Just putting it out there.

A lot of RED in this game Canada and Russia. Hard to watch! Poor Finney got nailed in the boards at the start!

I hope Russia wins with Ovechkin scoring the GWG. Then Crosby will know how he makes US feel. :P

Same here, all because of Hiller though.

wow only 2-0? I'd be kind of worried if I was a US fan heading into Friday.
