You may be right, sabresEH. However, Ovechkin does play in the NHL so he is, or should be used to the hack N slash game. It is called more in todays game as opposed to the games of yester-years, but there still is quite a bit of hooking and holding in the NHL as opposed to the play in the Olympics. That being said, there have been a lot of controversial calls which we've all seen in the games thus far.

Not saying our boys didn't play the Russians hard and weren't inspired and ready for this game. But if there was one team that may not have had the same glue in the locker room as other teams in these games, it very well could have been the Russians. IMO, tonight was a prime example of this and Canada took full advantage of it.

Yeah he gets the hack n slash in the NHL but not from every player he passes. Its frustrating. I once played in a hosue league as an overaged player. I was pretty much the OV of the league. It got on my fucking nerves.
As for the locker room not being glued. You could see it in OV today after their skate(may have been yesterday). He didnt talk to anyone and looked tense and nervouse. Not his loose and focused self.

He plays cheap and won't shut up. Pretty much the entire Ducks roster does. I have no special affections for anyone on Team USA aside from Miller and possibly Suter.
