You may be right, sabresEH. However, Ovechkin does play in the NHL so he is, or should be used to the hack N slash game. As for the locker room not being glued. You could see it in OV today after their skate(may have been yesterday). He didnt talk to anyone and looked tense and nervouse. Not his loose and focused self.


I agree, OV did look nervous, kind of like the game 7 against the Pens in the playoffs.

Game 7 versus the Pens. Tonight. The 2004 WJC game. When the stage is big and the focus is him and Crosby he seems to dissapear. Although Cros didnt do much tonight.

Same can be said about Bobby LOOOO. Miller and Brodeur seem to have so much smaller equipment than both of them.

Yup yup, this 100%.

I've played hockey with a guy who reminds me a lot of Getzlaf. I got tired of him running his mouth so one night during pickup, he crossed the blue line at the wrong moment and I gave him the Stevens treatment. Or Lindros syndrom... :lol: take your pick

I have to say though, there are more guys that I dislike on our Canada roster this Olympic than those which I like.

And I agree, Phil. I got bored with this game and hopped on the treadmill. When I came back and checked it out, I was like ZOMG!!! It's actually a kick ass game! \m/

Which is why I'm glad Miller and Brodeur are on the competition committee that is changing the rules and enforcement of goaltending equipment.

Oh yea, Lundqvist is also a huge offender with his MASSIVE gear.
