Good point, blusabre. But the NHL has been sending players since '98. Unless you mean we never played them since the NHL started sending players to the Olympics, until last night due to the scheduling format in the Olympics. I hear ya though.

Yup, that's what I meant. Since the NHL has started sending players to the Olympics, the only two times Canada and Russia have faced off was in 2006 and obviously, last night.
