Just read this....The Blog of Pat Griffin, the sandy vag behind the outrage and the woman who started the campaign to get the ad removed:

No axe to grind there...nope.

She sounds like she has a seriously deep rooted hatred for Christians and social conservatives and it shows.

I don't think her blog is offensive at all.

If this makes sense to you, please let the NCAA know. They apparently need a reminder. If this doesn’t make sense to you, please do not write me to consign me to hell or pray for my soul or call me names. You have a right to your beliefs; you just don’t have a right to associate them with the NCAA.

uh...I never called her blog offensive.
I said she has an axe to grind...and that is quite apparent.

Well then I'm with Squanto's last post. Anyone else in that situation probably would too against any institution denying them or their family rights, whether it be a single politician, political party, or country.

Except marriage isn't a right.

As long as It's my right to marry multiple cousins I'm ok with that.

I've been starting to dig on Chinese style Buddhism lately...no heaven or hell...no real rules. It's not really "organized" it just is.

even that seems off-putting to me sometimes.

I suppose that's a protip for any parents out there...raise your kid in a strict religious environment, chances are they'll reject it at the first available moment.

I can't believe these "issues" are still issues. I think most of us here are of the belief that if someone is doing something that doesn't effect you, then it should be ok.

...if a gay marries a gay in the woods, would you hear it?

...if a woman has an abortion in the woods, would you hear it?

...if someone wants to try to control what other people are doing, you WILL hear it, whether it be smoking a cigarette, drinking a "sugar" beverage, or wearing your seat belt.

People worrying about other people's shit has REALLY been annoying me lately.

If what I'm doing has no bearing on your life, then MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS FFS.

Sorry if that became a rant.

My ex and her second husband tried to push my kids to the Catholic Church. At first they were upset at me not being religious. I told them everyone has a right to believe as they see fit.

Long story short; after about 9 months of this, they flatly rejected Catholicism, and became Atheists.
