He leads the team in PIMS, he has only 1 assist, minus 4, and obviously he doesn't work hard because if you lead the team in PIMS it either means your a goon or a freaking lazy bastard.
...or, you get sent out there, by your coach, to cause shit. And typically sit, otherwise.
If you watched him, on the St. Louis Blues, you would know otherwise. He wasn't a goal-scorer, but he got his share - Even had a 15-goal season...
And, leading the team in PIM's means no such thing...
It means you take a lot of penalty minutes. Taking penalties either A: means someone dived or faked it, which usually doesn't happens, B: Your lazy and you hook, trip, or slash the guy or C: You fight a lot AKA goon.
And if you get sent out on the ice to start stuff and cause stuff, you are a goon. A lap dog. Which if the coach does that he can be fined.
You just like to fucking argue, don't you?
Patty Kaleta 54 min PIM - So he's a fucking goon?
Here's a list of "goons":
Alex Ovechkin 46
Eric Boulton 46
Rick Rypien 46
Sean Avery 46
Jamal Mayers 45
Bryan Allen 45
Jay McKee 44
David Backes 44
Paul Mara 44
Shane Hnidy 43
Craig Rivet 43
Matt Walker 43
Chris Pronger 43
Martin Hanzal 43
Adam Foote 42
Alexandre Burrows 42
Steve Ott 42
Jamal Mayers 45 min PIM... He must be a goon. Right? And, for your enlightenment, Colton Orr leads the Leafs, with 75 min PIM
The overall number means nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. And as for your lap-dog argument...WTF? If the coach wants to spark the team and tells you to go out and pick a fight - You go out and pick a fight. Or if your goalie gets run, you turn around and smack the fucker that ran him.
Team? Ever hear of that word?
Have you ever even played Hockey? Where do you get off making such bullshit judgments? STFU.
