How can you make an assumption of "not seeing the point" when you never tried it? Or anything for that matter.

I like being able to talk to girls in the bar without slurring my words.

I also like waking up in the morning without hangovers.

That is true...but the best hangover killer really is the ingestion of water BEFORE you drink. Helps me everytime. If I remember to do so of course :)

I say do what you want, no need to defend your personal choices. Just be responsible with it.

If a person chooses to only drink, alright cool

If a person chooses to only smoke, alright cool

If a person chooses to do both, cool

If a person chooses to do neither, thats fine too.

I have never understood why if someone says "I haven't tried it, because I dont see the point" why thats a bad thing. It seems that PK88 seems to be content getting intoxicated, and see's no point in trying something else, because he's perfectly fine with the things he has tried.

And the best remedy for a hangover is a nice sativa plant. :D

Yeah PuckSniper!
Cannabis, sativa more so than indica, always helps with nausea and headaches (hangover or anything really).
When I found cannabis I stopped using tylenol/motrin/advil. Cannabis works faster and has no harmful side effects.

Yeah, but if you have a bad hangover...I mean a demonic one then nothing will help but time. I've had a few where "doing the right thing" didn't work like it usually would. Not even milk, cold showers, Chunky soup would help. Water is the key folks!

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of alcohol in the world so I barely get anything but buzzed when I drink. So I'm not the biggest hangover expert in the world. I just know when I have a headache or stomach problems, cannabis always seems to help, or at least lessen the negative feelings.

Or rolling over in the morning and going; "Holy Shit, you looked a lot better when I was drunk"

I work late night, as a waiter, for a certain shitty ass breakfast restaurant chain.
I get drunk people. I get high people.
Last night 2 tables of drunk people got kicked out for continually yelling fuck and smashing plates.
The high people sat quietly and enjoyed their food.

Its a common reoccurence. My job is basically to babysit shit-faced drunks. When people come in high its a relief. (Most high people still have brain processes and manners, unlike drunk idiots)

America choose the wrong drug. Fuck stupid alcoholics.

-No sir I will not "give you some fucking eggs", if you keep referring to them as "fucking eggs""
-Sir could you please refrain from getting up running across the restaraunt and shouting.
-Hey could you please turn down that cell phone ring tone you and your friends think is so hilarious and stop yelling "CUNT!" in unison whenever the ring tone says it.
-Sir I just watched you intentionally break a dish, why are you denying this.

We normally have to call the cops AT LEAST once a night. Its always some stupid drunken asshole who sparks it. Never once have we had to call the cops for someone under the influence of marijuana so far.

I get paid to serve people food, not to babysit drunken, ignorant assholes. I can't believe I'm paying for college and my apartment like this. I hate myself every fucking day. Gotta do what you gotta do though. Only 3 more years of working a shitty job.... Just gotta keep telling myself that.

but yeah, moral of the story: Fuck alcohol. Smoke cannabis. It'll save your 19 year old teenage overnight server some stress and help him pass college.

You should help teach all the different people we have to call the cops on every week how to act then.

Believe me I hate the "420, Pothead, Stoner" scene even though I enjoy marijuana. They give a bad name to the people who smoke and are helping push my cause back further.

I'm sure its the same way with people who drink. The ones who act like idiots are the ones that make all of you look like idiots. I'm sure many drunks can control themselves, but in my situation we have problems with drunkards, not with stoners.

as a participant of both... I'm going to side with haggard here.

I've never seen a person get violent when they're high or try to fight. Drunk is a different story

And you are the definition of everybody now, because YOU must equal everyone who gets drunk.

So I guess if Irony gets drunk and is in control this is the only fact we need about everyone else.

Not in the way he put it and implied by it.

He directly responded to Haggards post with, "When i'm drunk, I'm in control." That is implying just because he is in control everyone must be and being drunk is safe because I'm in control so everyone else should be.

My logic isn't weak, just because Irony is in control when he is drunk doesn't mean everyone is, and Haggard is right, drunk people tend more to violence since Alcohol is a depressant and normally people drink when shit went down.

And only because someone is high, doesn't mean he/she is in control either. It is, in fact, a mind altering drug. Creative enhancement, mood alteration, whatever, one is not who he/she normally is. This in itself is self creative proof of the mind altering effects. If one can feel enhancement under the influence, perhaps that person needs to begin to eradicate those qualities which are demeaning and grasp those qualities which he/she defines as enhancements and once that process begins, he/she can live without mind alteration at all.

Two things.
You might not be able to control your will to stay out of the Cocoa Puffs, but will most likely not end up peeing on a cop's leg and not remembering it when your high.

Second. Getting high expands your thought horizon. Are you saying that I should try to feel high even when I'm not. How can I expand my own horizon?? Is it that I just can't grasp "the buzz" sober cause I'm not concentrating hard enough? I don't think creative enhancement is a good term for being high at all. In fact, that borders on WUT?

I'm sure everyone's heard this and experiencing it I agree...

"I do stupider things drunk than when I'm high..."
