This is more than a religious celebration, it is a time to reflect upon our lives and the happiness we can pass to others less fortunate--Those who cannot grasp the meaning of a smile, those who cannot understand a hug, or those who refuse to believe in the power of themselves. If this is a celebration of religion, or a celebration of a long and deserved weekend, may all of us spend a couple of minutes to smile about our own fortunes and reflect upon the fact that our fortunes are measured, gauged, and judged from the misfortunes of others.....and what ,if any, can we do to change those misfortunes if only in a small and self-reflective way.
