I can't decide if I like Metridium Fields or The Icthyologist more, honestly. I just know that Giant Squid has become a favorite of mine. If they would just come to Buffalo...

I like Metridium Fields quite a bit, but I don't think it holds a candle to Ichthyologist.

Sevengill (Notorynchus Cepedianus) - Giant Squid

It's right up there with Crack the Skye for my album of the year.

Schony, this one's off the cd Fire In The Kitchen

I'll give it a listen. I own a MJL cd called Suas e! I brought it for a song called Horo Ghoid Thu Nighean (Stepping Song). Are you familiar with Ashley MacIsaac? They've collaborated on a few songs.

The one MacIsaac song I really like is called Devil in the Kitchen. The audio and vid are so bad I won't embed it. I think you need to be drinking heavily to listen to it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNVTUh5yviI

I've heard of Ashley MacIsaac, but I'm not sure if I've listened to anything with her. No, wait. I've got one track from her from the Fire In The Kitchen album. It's an instrumental, but I really like it.

I'll drink heavily tonight and give that youtube vid a view. ;)

Brothers In The Wind and now Cometh Down Hessian - High on Fire

Seriously, High on Fire has to be my second favorite metal band behind Mastodon.

You did what I first did. Ashley MacIsaac is a male ;)
The vid above is hard core; like DropKick. Do have a listen later and let me know what you think (I wish the quality was better). The instrumental you're thinking of might be Sleepy Maggie. That's the one that features Mary Jane Lamond on vocals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoApELfgWcg

Oops. Nah, the instrumental I've got is called "Medley: My Home/The Contradiction/Julia Delaney". I'll give that other one a listen in a bit.
