Was recently introduced to Devil Doll's music, and I'm fucking addicted. Hot. Hot. Hot.

Sounds like Fiona Apple to me, especially circa Extraordinary Machine.

Nice one, goose!

Elenore by The Turtles - one of my faves, for sure.

Nick, you should really check out the Magneticfields. I think you'd find their sound pretty nifty. Start with their album "i" - that's where I did.

"Sway," Michael Buble

I wish Pandora would stop playing this dude for me. I shouldn't have said I like Andrea Bocelli because now I get a Michael Buble song every couple of hours, and I can't stand him. Every time I listen to him all I can think is, "FRANK SINATRA DID IT BETTER." Maybe that's because Sinatra was one of the singers I grew up listening to. I don't know. I do know that, objectively, Sinatra has a better voice. That much is true. He was also a jerk lol. I don't know how Buble is as a person.

My absolute favorite version of Sway is the one below by Julie London. Very sultry. Check it out...

Ooh, I like that much better.

Even the merengue is improved.

Nobody speaks or sings with that voice affectation anymore. It works wonderfully in songs like that.

I found a great one. Check out Devil Doll...I've posted a couple songs from her already. If you like that sultry, siren voice I think you'll like this a lot.

I don't know the name; but it was a cover of an old ballad, and performed by Rod Stewart. The song was bad, he was bad; but dammed if I can't get it out of my head now..
