Not really, because we surrendered a 2nd round pick and obtained a 3rd and a 4th.

Personally, I think Darcy won in both situations, because the draft is pretty much a crap shoot, and now we get TWO picks instead of one, and we get a better player.

I think that's about equal. Paetsch was worthless. I see your point though.

And that 2nd round pick should be lower 2nd round and those 3rd and 4th rounders should be high 3rd and 4th rounders :D

I like this move also. Defensive liability for picks isn't bad.

Sabres have had some better luck picking in the third and fourth than 1st and second lately anyways.

I like this move more than the Torres one, a 2nd round pick for torres is way too much to give for a guy who finally figured out how to play in the NHL.
