So just like getting you know who from last year. Darcy for fuck sakes, before you make a trade ask the opposing team if the player is injured. :snooty: If he is DO NOT make the trade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ummm, I'm pretty sure he asked that question. You're giving grade 3 advice to a NHL Gm.

So can you tell me why over the past two years he has added injured players in Moore and Torres when they really did not need these guys? Either Darcy has no clue on how to trade or he's getting bad info on these players.

THERE IS NO INJURY DISCLOSURE MANDATE IN THE NHL...thats why. It's been said atleast twice in the thread.

Nobody is really forced to disclose a minor injury that wont cause a player to miss immediate time. And we dont know when it happened. It would have happened in Columbus, it could have happened in Buffalo, it could have happened while he was home watching playboy TV.

I'm not going to bash Darcy for not knowing about the injury, but as I said in the other thread I started, the 2nd rounder could have been used for a better trade later for a player that would stay long-term. I don't care about who could have been drafted with that pick, I care about who could have been acquired this summer with that pick. I just hate rentals because they are rarely players that willl make a difference between a Stanley Cup or not.

I guess we can stop bashing Darcy for trading for another injured player..... Torres says he got injured here.

Torres as of right now is a complete waste of that 2nd rounder but if he plays like he did with Edmonton when they were in the playoffs then at least that 2nd rounder will be worth it. I guess only time will tell.

He scored 11 points in 22 games for that team, and played a great physical game. If he plays the way he did for the Oilers in their Cup run, it will be a steal by Darcy Regier.
