You still think Mancari is a better player then Torres?? LOL
Who said better? I stated it is my opinion for the long term viability of the franchise.
So, lets review, shall we?
We keep Torres, and don't end up winning the Cup this season. Torres walks to sign with some one else. We loose the 2nd rd pick and Mancari doesn't get precious regular season and playoff experience if the team were to decide to keep him.......hmmmmmmmm...........no, I think I'll stay with my original opinion, I would have kept Mancari in. LOL
I don't know which is more humorous.... the fact you want to play Mancari over Torres or the fact you think Mancari will be a full-time Sabre next year?

I guess we'll see next season who is in and who is out, won't we now. But all in all, I stand by my assessment. Oh, you can scream all you want about Torres, ok, we'll see come playoff time what he's made of. Outside of tonights performance, he hasn't impressed me any at all. And even tonight, he was the 2nd feeder on 2 of 3 goals.
Remind me again what line he is playing on? What I thought.
To be quite honest, Mancari could do no worse in a blow out like this evening.
When he first got here he was injured, which is probably why his play was sub par. This was his first game back, and Lindy didn't want to rush him into 1st or 2nd line minutes. Give it a couple games and I'm sure he'll be with Roy and Kennedy until Vanek gets back. I'm not saying he's going to be a star, but now that he's healthy, throughout the stretch and into the playoffs he'll produce a couple points here and there, be a presence in front of the net, and give this team some more toughness which is what we were looking for when we traded for him. That's a lot more that more than what Mancari and his "I'll play on my terms" game has to offer.
