Ok, I have a 15 year old step son and he and I jam out every weekend. I can tell you I hate thumb controllers, to a guy my age they are fairly new and I am learning the different moves with the controllers, bumbers, etc...etc.....

I do keep the games fairly close considering he smokes me 9 out of 10 times (He's a Detroit fanatic and Datsyuk and Zettershit.....errrr......well, you get my meaning, cause me fits most games). However, there is Miller, and he carries me most of the game, its not my lack of defensive play, I keep him to the outside most of the time, its my inability to bury it against OzGod or Happy Howard. I have learned to use the stick in a rolling fashion and am getting better.
(Just carried him to a game 6 this past weekend in a Battle for the Cup game).

I have jammed on the NHL series for years, same thing with football back in the late 90's too.
But, he still uses the dam bumper move to get around my defense and Dammit Rivet and Montador, stop taking slashing penalties, that frickin lift stick has to be time just right.

I will beat his ass one of these weekends, but for now, I have to suffer humiliating defeat after humiliating defeat at the hands of Detroit .

Here is the surprise to me in the 10 game, Gerbe is a terror and my step son hates to play him, Roy does good, Vanish shows up once every 3 games and I too have demoted Staff infection to the 4th line. Pomminville hits the net in the game and Connolly isn't that bad either. I love playing Weber and Gragnani over Butler and Lydman.

I can't find Myers or Ennis in the game, come on NHL11.
