Montreal is taking penalties and Pittsburgh is destroying them with the powerplay.

Well if cooke didn't get penalized for the hit to Savard I don't see why Bruins fans are bitching.

Pens are running away with this. 5-2 four minutes into the third.

NBC needs Saturday afternoon games  and the United Center is/was booked for NBA playoffs

Well this series could be over for Montreal if Markov's out.

This is why upsets are great in theory and scarcity, shitty in reality and bulk.

It's one thing to play out of your mind once, but the teams frequently shit the bed shortly after and it produces worse games.

Pittsburgh looked great.

They play like the champ and I have a good feeling they'll repeat.

I still don't think the Penguins will repeat, they've yet to face a team with an actual good offense, and a team that has both good defense and offense.

I say they will play for the cup, but won't stand a chance against a complete Western team. There is no way Pittsburgh can keep up with any of the Western teams out there that's left.

Is Malkin and Crosby scoring at a ridiculous rate this year?

If they aren't, well they won't repeat.

I probably did say it, but can have my opinion on the teams left just like you and state them.

As a matter of fact, they are.

Crosby: 5 goals, 11 assists, 16 points in 7 games (2.29 PPG)

Malkin: 4 goals, 5 assists, 9 points in 7 games (1.29 PPG)

The Penguins have scored 30 goals so far this post-season, meaning that Crosby has factored into 53% of the total offensive output, and Malkin 30%. They've definitely been contributing at a very strong rate.

Thanks for pulling that out, but how many high scoring games have they lost? I know it was a few against the Sens.

I was just wondering, but scoring can only get them so far against these teams, as shown also today by Halak's strong play once again. their defense and goaltending need to step it up or they will be gone from the playoffs.
