seems like it would be easier on refs to tell that any piece of the puck is in the net rather than the entire puck being completely over the line. like breaking the plane in nfl

If the NHL was a legitimate league, they would have two of those in every arena in the league. Ridiculous that they don't. It wouldn't have mattered in our case, but still dumb.
