Hey, Ennis, aim for the back of the net. You wasted seven shots on goal. Try that again, and your ass will be in the press box for failing to score. Douchebag.
Well he did have 1 more second of ice time and 6 more shots than Tim Connolly. I mean I know ya like to dish the puck Timmy, but 1 shot in 18 and change?
Vanek 24 minutes of ice time and 2 shots? Montidor had 2 shots on goal. Have some pride Tommy.
There's something really wrong with this team if Cody McCormick is leading the team in shots with 8 and then Ennis is second with 7.
Did you not watch Vanek getting mugged every time he got close to the puck?
The reason McCormick led our team in shots tonight was because the Flyers know how to shut down top line players, especially on a team like Buffalo. There is a reason they are third in the league in the standings.
No, I get it. That's what I'm saying...opponents have had a relatively easy time putting s in the this position of having the Cody McCormicks on the roster save the day.
Oh no, I know Vanek gets practically axe handled when he get within 10 feet of the puck...but he is a 5th overall draft pick right? I mean are we now giving him the "Lee Evans" defense? I didn't get the memo. We don't have a ton up front so teams can focus on Vanek. I get that. But I thought we had a good coach? Its like we're just content to waste Vanek until we can hide him behind a top scoring line...Here Thomas stand in front of the net...get hammered, get injured. Did you read the article about all the injuries he had last year?
I'm the biggest Vanek fan around here, but you can't have your highest paid forward get shut down as much as Vanek gets shut down.
