it's cool that he scores a lot like that, but it's not always the right choice. that's how i see it.

A shot on goal is better than no shot. It was also a good play by the Pen to help his D-partner out.

So in the last few minutes I've seen Stafford, Vanek and Ennis skate the puck into the zone rather easily. Maybe its the Pens D that allows a skaters to skate it in on the edges and pinch them off...but still better than in the past watching Max skate it in and hoping someone else shoots it on net.
