I'm not gonna argue that we didnt play 60 minutes, but we certainly didn't help ourselves. Look at the highlights, 3 goals off 3 poor defensive/transitional plays. If the other team earns a goal on us fine, but when we can't make good plays; and protect the puck, then we beat ourselves, and that's the problem.

They earned crap, that got rattled in the 2nd period, out worked and out classed. They allowed Cooke into their kitchen and he was banging the pots and pans and spitting in moms secret recipe all game. The Sabres aren't conditioned well enough to skate an entire 60 minutes with the Penguins.

These refs, not only called terrible calls against the Sabres, they were, according to my eyesight and the MSG Broadcasters RJ and Harry Neil, were doing stupid shit while dropping the puck off the face off. They also gave barely any penalties to a much deserving of a penalty Pittsburgh team. We have a god given right to whine. And I sense a little bias in your comment.

I would just like to say Matt Cooke is the biggest piece of fucking shit in hockey. Fuck him. That piece of trash does not belong in this league. People can say Kaleta plays the same role, but at least he'll actually drop the gloves when challenged. Cooke on the other hand will only start throwing punches when his victim is on the ground with the linesman on top of him. Not only will Cooke keep his gloves on, he will also grab and punch the official, which is ok apparently. I have no idea how this shithead has not been kicked out of the league. He does not even try to stay within the rules when being the agitator and yet he never gets called because him and Crosby are butt buddies. So fuck him, fuck the Penguins, and fuck the NHL. I am still so pissed about last night.

They didn't score any power play goals. We had our chances to take the game back over when even strength came and we didn't do it.

That's not the ref's fault.

The only thing I'll fault them for was the offsides they missed on the Pen's 3rd goal.
