Good news about Leopold, but apparently he won't be available until game 6 at the earliest. Anyone know what Hecht's time frame is? I mistakenly thought he was ready to go. Morrisonn is out with a hit to the chin (maybe slight concussion) and Sekera, I assume, will start. Same forward line-up I suppose, with the defense being Butler-Myers, Gragnani-Montador, Sekera-Weber.

With both teams wanting more offense, I'm expecting some mistakes. Philly will press more in the Buffalo zone and open themselves up to breakouts the other way. Buffalo's d-men might try too much in joining the rush or pinching and get caught with odd-mans. I'm going to say they combine for 7-8 goals.

We NEED the scorers to step up in game 2. The grinders did their jobs in game 1 and we need someone like Pommers or Vanek to create some scoring chances for us.

Let's go Buffalo!!!

I got a good feeling about this game, but I do believe the Sabres will be staggered from a nasty haymaker, and will have to regain their wits and keep fighting.

Just got back from the store, me and about 10 friends are watching the game at my place (in Jamestown). 30 Italian Sausages, 25 Sirloin burgers, 4 bags of chips, 1 large veggie tray, and 120 Blue lights...should be able to make it through the game

Dennis Persson is an emergency recall today. If Sekera can't start tonight, I'd rather see Ruff rotate five d-men than put Persson out there.

Two pairs were used during the last 12 minutes of game 1. If Persson doesn't play well, the rest of the defense is capable of holding the game down, as long as we get more help from the offense today.

Persson gets a lot of negative attention being a 1st round pick who hasn't come around yet.

Many people also said 2 years ago that Gragnani would never play a single game in the NHL, think he's proving them all pretty wrong. I'd much rather see Persson out there than running 5 men in a D rotation. Put Persson out there with Weber and give them 10-14 mins of ice time. If they earn more, then play them more.

Or pair Persson with Montador and give them about 8-10 mins unless the others get gassed.

we were gonna get a keg, but since we're gonna be at my parents house we decided against it...rumor has it that keg stands and beer pong tend to break out at intermission, and my mother would freak...my dad would be doing keg stands with us...haha.

Butler/Myers and Weber/Grags were rocks out there. You don't split them up. Regardless of whether it's Persson or Sekera who plays (Sekera is a game time decision), you put him with Montador.

Good chance I'm missing out on most of this one tonight.

Not impressed one bit.
