Rut roh. Now it's Needs turn to play hero. Who'da thunk we'd be missing Hecht as a center this much??? Boyes needs to really shine now after his 'demotion?'. I'm sure he was brought in as a swing player(RW/C) seeing Roy was injured. It also would have allowed him to play with Pommers eventually, which would be dandy, because neither can anchor a line independently. Oh well, maybe next year Brad can adjust.


BTW, I like those defensive pairings. Maybe Suckera can play center when he comes back.

he took a nasty shot block and poke check to the grill too... remember Miller taking a swipe at (carter or richards, one of those d-bags) and you can tell in the slow mo that the d-dag tells miller to f-off.... so Sekera may need a little more rest... I just hope Leo is ready to roll and drops some bombs... Monte finishes cleaning his act up (game 2 was better than game 3), Grags, Weber and Myers keep playing solid...

Yeah that's exactly why I've been hoping for Hecht to return...so Boyes can go back to RW. I thought maybe his pink and/or ring finger was a problem again, then I heard it was a concussion. I'm getting impatient for him to get back in the line-up. Seems like we could be back to full strength if we can just get to the 2nd rd.

Headscratcher #1? Well, it's not as bad as starting Goose on the PP with no rest(with Vanek on the bench) after he just killed 7 penalties in that same period. As long as I see Leopold with the puck in every instance I saw Grags with it last game, I'll be happy.
