Yah. I remember that happened to Gaustad a few years ago and he was out for a loooong time. But it didn't look like it sliced his achilles from the replay.

theres a tendon right next to the outside of the ankle. thats what i had to have repaired when they reconstructed my ankle. :(

all from stepping in a hole chasing a flyball.

I think it's a bit premature of the NHL to make a commercial on the Hawks-Canucks series...I mean, at least wait and see if Chicago can pull off the upset. :/
